Grade Recovery

We recover grade by means of Sweeping and Vampings. We use pneumatic and electrical equipment to pump mud from settler dams, sumps and drains which in turn is deposited into weeping bags. Clean water weeps form the bags for 3 days, which is then pumped back to the settler dams. The clean water improves the availability and longevity of the pumps and drain columns. The dried material is then tipped into the main ore pass systems and does not cause any mud rush or clog’s up the ore pass.
